Smart AC Remote respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use our mobile application.

2. Information We Collect

The app is designed to collect limited information that is necessary to operate the app, improve reliability, and support advertising.

• Saved air conditioner configurations: brand, model/profile, device name, room/location label, default temperature, and default mode. This data is stored locally on your device to let you reopen saved remotes.
• Feedback or model reports: if you choose to send feedback or report an air conditioner model, your email app may send the text you provide to our support email address together with app and device context included in the draft email, such as app version, package name, Android version, device model, locale, and IR support status.
• App activity and diagnostics: the app uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand basic app usage, diagnose crashes, improve reliability, and measure app performance. These services may collect app events, crash logs, diagnostics, device information, and app identifiers.
• Advertising-related information: the app uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Google and its partners may process information such as device or other identifiers (including advertising identifiers where available), IP address, approximate location derived from IP, app interactions, ad performance data, diagnostic information, and other signals used to serve, measure, personalize (where permitted), and protect advertising.

3. Information We Do Not Collect Directly

• We do not require users to create an account.
• We do not ask for your name, phone number, contacts, photos, camera, or precise location.
• We do not sell personal information.

4. Permissions

The app may request or use the following permissions:

• TRANSMIT_IR: used to send infrared signals to compatible air conditioners from devices that have an IR transmitter.
• Internet access: used for Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, AdMob, and opening external links such as this Privacy Policy.
• Network state access: used to support network-aware app behavior and advertising/analytics services.

5. Data Storage

Saved remote configurations are stored locally on your device. Depending on your Android system and backup settings, some local app data may be included in device backup or transfer features provided by the operating system.

Feedback or model report emails are created through your email app. Those messages are only sent if you choose to send them.

6. Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party services:

• Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): used to display and measure ads, prevent invalid traffic, and support advertising operations.
• Firebase Analytics: used to measure app usage and improve the app.
• Firebase Crashlytics: used to collect crash reports and diagnostics so we can fix stability issues.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information ourselves. However, information processed through Google services such as AdMob, Firebase Analytics, and Crashlytics may be collected, processed, or shared by Google and its partners for advertising, analytics, measurement, fraud prevention, diagnostics, and service operation purposes, subject to their own policies and legal requirements.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete local saved remote configurations by removing them in the app, clearing app data, or uninstalling the app. Feedback emails are retained only as needed to review and respond to user reports. Analytics, crash, diagnostics, and advertising-related data retention is managed through Google services according to Google's own retention settings and policies.

9. Children's Privacy

The app is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us.

The app is not designed specifically for children. Ad serving and data processing may vary depending on applicable law, region, and Google advertising settings.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.

1. Acceptance of Terms

Smart AC Remote is a mobile application that allows users to control compatible air conditioners using an Android device's built-in infrared transmitter where available. The app may also display third-party advertisements and provide links to external pages such as the Privacy Policy, Google Play listing, and feedback destinations.

3. Requirements

• An Android device with a built-in IR blaster/transmitter for direct IR control.
• Android 8.0 (API 26) or higher.

4. Usage Guidelines

You agree to:

• Use the App only for its intended purpose of controlling compatible air conditioners.
• Not reverse engineer, modify, or redistribute the App except where permitted by law.
• Not use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
